    Day 01 Arrive in Shanghai

    Arrive in China's international metropolis - Shanghai, perfect for families who enjoy theme park fun and urban exploration. With accessible parks, museums, and aquariums, it is an excellent choice for both wheelchair users and toddlers.

    Your private Easy Tour China guide in Shanghai will meet you at the airport or railway station. We have arranged a private accessible vehicle for you to be transported to the hotel for check-in. If time permits, you can take a leisurely walk near the hotel to adjust to the time difference.

    Day 02 Shanghai City Accessible Tour | Renmin Square, Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Xintiandi

    This is a family-friendly and wheelchair-accessible route exploring Shanghai’s best highlights. First, arrive at People's Square, the center of Shanghai. The square is clean, spacious, flat, and accessible. It offers a variety of attractions catering to families, including grandparents and grandchildren. For example, the Shanghai Museum, one of the best museums in China, is equipped with elevators and accessibility facilities. Enjoy precious cultural relics such as Chinese bronzes, porcelain, and calligraphy and paintings.

    Then, head to Nanjing Road, the most famous historical district in China and also a popular shopping street. Wheelchair users can also stroll easily, until the Bund. The view of the Huangpu River - the historical buildings of the Bund and the skyline of the Pudong skyscrapers form an astonishing contrast.

    Finally, arrive at the stylish and cultural Xintiandi, which is transformed from traditional Shanghai Shikumen buildings and blends luxury shopping and restaurants, making it a hit with families.

    Day 03 Shanghai Cityscape Exploration | Oriental TV Tower, Disney Store, Shanghai Aquariums

    Step onto the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, one of the most famous landmarks in Shanghai, via the elevator, and features spaces and facilities for all abilities. Take in the panoramic view of Shanghai from the observation deck. Beside the Oriental Pearl Tower, there is a famous circular pedestrian bridge that can be reached via an elevator, which is one of the best spots for photographing the humongous towers.

    From the transparent glass of the observation deck of the Oriental Pearl Tower, you may have noticed the Disney store below. Children can enjoy choosing Disney gifts here, while parents and grandparents can take a break.

    Then head to the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium, which has one of the world's longest underwater tunnels in the aquarium - very popular among children.

    Day 04 Full day Disneyland Trip with Round-way Transfers

    Experience the sheer family fun at Shanghai Disneyland. It is fully wheelchair-friendly, offering accessibility services, wheelchair access pathways, and adaptive ride options. Enjoy the excitement of Pirates of the Caribbean, TRON Lightcycle Power Run, Winnie the Pooh Ride, Disney Parade, and more. Of course, also watch the Disney fireworks show at night with the whole family.

    Day 05 Shanghai to Beijing Tour by Flight or High Speed Train

    You are welcome to discuss with your travel specialist at Easy Tour China to choose between the domestic flight and the bullet train traveling from Shanghai to Beijing.

    Day 06 Beijing City Accessible Tour | Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Hutong

    Beijing is the modern capital of China and also an ancient capital of six dynasties in Chinese history. A combination of culture and play, with wheelchair-friendly transportation and family-oriented attractions, your Beijing family tour will be educational, fun, and worry-free.

    Arrive at Tiananmen Square, one of the largest city squares in the world, which is flat and wide. Elderly people using wheelchairs can see many iconic buildings of modern China without any obstruction, while children can also take it as a large playground.

    Walk to the more than 600-year-old Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the largest wooden structure in the world. It is a wheelchair-friendly attraction that offers wheelchair rental services and accessibility maps. Your guide will arrange a wheelchair-friendly visiting route, allowing you to not miss the highlights of the Forbidden City and numerous art treasures.

    Day 07 China Great Wall Accessible Tour |Mutianyu Great Wall with Adaptive Cable Car

    Your China family tour is incomplete without visiting the Great Wall. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the longest and largest wall on Earth, and also the greatest military project in ancient times. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best sections for families with kids and seniors, and also one of the most suitable Great Walls for wheelchair visitors.

    Take the cable car up the mountain, walk along the gentle paths, and enjoy the magnificent scenery of the Great Wall and the mountain views from the viewing platform. Through the explanations of your knowledgeable guide, you will learn how the Great Wall was built, how it functioned on ancient battlefields, and many interesting stories and facts about the Great Wall.

    Then take the cable car down the mountain and take a ride back to the hotel.

    Day 08 Beijing Family-friendly Tour | Panda House, the Temple of Heaven, Dashila Pedestrian Street

    Today, you will visit Beijing Zoo and the Temple of Heaven, offering various fun activities for kids and teenagers, and suitable for all abilities. At the Panda House of Beijing Zoo, you can get a close look at the adorable pandas, including Meng Lan, one of the most famous pandas, who is known as the "Kung Fu" Panda of Beijing.

    Then, head to the Temple of Heaven, an ancient place where emperors offered sacrifices to heaven. With smooth pathways, wheelchair users can also move freely. Appreciate its masterpieces of ancient Chinese architecture, such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Echo Wall. And you can also encounter local morning exercisers in Beijing - mostly elderly people - who do various morning exercises such as practicing Tai Chi, playing diabolo (a kind of ball game), and ring-toss games.

    Finally, arrive at the historic Dashila Street to taste Beijing snacks. If you want to buy some souvenirs for your family and friends before returning home, this is also a good choice.

    Day 09 Beijing departure

    If you have one more day or your return flight at the late night, also consider an optional extra day trip to Universal Studio Beijing. One of the largest Universal Studios in Asia, it is another fully wheelchair-friendly attraction, and offers endless fun for the whole family.
