South and West China Expedition

After breakfast, drive around 2 hours to Nanjing County to visit Tianluokeng Earth Towers (Tulou) of Hakka people, Yuchang Earth Building, and Taxia Village. Transfer back to Xiamen in the afternoon. In the evening, you can take a stroll at Zhongshan Pedestrian Street for local snacks and foods.

Day tour to Gulangyu Island- Sunlight Rock, Birds Garden, Shuzhuang Garden, Piano Museum. After that, you will be transferred to train station and take high speed train to Guangzhou. Upon arrival, be met and transferred to your hotel.

Today visit Chen Family Temple, Temple of Six Banyan Trees, Xiguan old houses, and have a stroll at Shamian Island. Transfer to the airport and fly to Zhangjiajie.

Drive to visit Tianmen Mountain, take the world's longest cable car up to the summit of the mountain. Tour the Biyeyaotai Scenic Area, walk along the plank road built along a cliff. Have a bird's eye view of the "road to the Sky" - The road was built spiral along the high mountains and has 99 bens, looks awesome beautiful; walk up along the "steps to the heaven" and then go through a huge hole - "the gate of heaven". Then proceed to visit Baofeng Lake by boat, stay overnight at Wulingyuan town.

Drive to visit Zhangjiajie National Park, take a cable car up to Huangshizhai (Yellow Stone Fort), then proceed to visit Suoxiyu Nature Reserve, hike along Golden Whip Stream. Stay at Wulingyuan overnight.

After breakfast, ascend the Yuanjiajie Scenic Area by an elevator. On the summit platform, you will see the Southern Sky Column - the prototype of the "Hallelujah Mountains" in Avatar. Later, visit Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve. Then transfer to the airport and fly to Chengdu.

Drive to visit the largest stone-carved Buddha at Leshan with a height of 71 meters. Then stop at Huanglongxi old town to experience the traditional lifestyle of local people.

Visit the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center to see the lovely creatures. Then drive back and see Wuhou Memorial Temple, have a walk at Kuan-zhai Lane. Transfer to the airport to head for Lijiang.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (round-way cable car at Spruce Meadow), then a visit to Shuhe Village.

Explore Lijiang Ancient Town in  the morning, including a visit to Zhongyi Wet Market, the Mu's Mansion, Lion Hill and Sifang Square. Take an afternoon high speed train to Kunming. Transfer to the hotel.

Visit the Stone Forest today. In the late afternoon, take high speed train to Guilin.

Meal: B, L

Transfer to Zhujiang Pier in the morning. Take a cruise on the Li River and enjoy lunch on board. Arrive at the small town Yangshuo this afternoon. Check in your hotel and free afternoon for your own exploration (perhaps strolling or shopping for some souvenirs along the West Street).

Drive back to Guilin airport, visit Reed Flute Cave and have a stroll around the central lakes at downtown. Then transfer to the airport for your flight to next destination.
