Overview

In southwest of China, there are several provinces which have unique natural scenery and minorities cultures, namely Guangxi, Yunnan and Sichuan. Our 10-day trip starts from Nanning in Guangxi, then head to Kunming, Dali and Lijiang for the beautiful ancient villages and high land scenery; Chengdu is the last station of the trip where you can taste spicy chuan food.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Nanning, visit Qingxiu Mountain

Upon arrival in Nanning, you will be met and transferred to your hotel by private car. Visit Qingxiu Mountain to enjoy the scenery and relax.

Day 2 Visit the Golden Camellia Park and Guangxi Museum of Nationalities. Take flight to Kunming

After breakfast, drive to visit the peaceful the Golden Camellia Park. After lunch, visit Guangxi Museum of Nationalities. Transfer to take an overnight train to Kunming (13.5 hours).

Day 3 Visit Stone Forest and local Sani Village, then have a stroll at Green Lake

Arrive in Kunming in the early morning. Be met and transferred to have breakfast and check into the hotel. Then drive 90km to visit the Stone Forest, visit the local Sani Village on the way and see the home-based handicraft workshop. Stroll at Green Lake.

Day 4 Visit Dragon Gate & West Hill, Daguan Park and Golden Temple. Take overnight train to Dali

Have city tours to Dragon Gate & West Hill, where you can have a panoramic view of Dian Lake (Dian Chi). Afterwards, visit Daguan Park and Golden Temple. Take an overnight train to Dali.

Day 5 Full day Dali tour

Full day trip to Cangshan Mountain (cable car), Erhai Lake (cruise), Xizhou Bai Minority Village.

Day 6 Morning countinue your tour at Dali, afternoon take train to Lijiang

Visit Three Pagodas, Dali Ancient Town and local batik workshop. In the afternoon, transfer to train station and head for Lijiang (2 hours).

Day 7 Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Shuhe Village

After breakfast, you will be transferred to visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (round-way cable car at Spruce Meadow), then a visit to Shuhe Village.

Day 8 Lijiang city tour, then take flight to Chengdu

Visit Lijiang Ancient Town, Mu Mansion, the Black Dragon Pool and Dongba Museum, transfer to airport or train station to head for Chengdu.

Day 9 Visit Leshan Giant Buddha and Huanglongxi old town

Drive to visit the largest stone-carved Buddha at Leshan with a height of 71 meters. Then stop at Huanglongxi old town to experience the traditional lifestyle of local people.

Day 10 Visit Panda base, Wuhou Memorial Temple and Kuan-zhai Lane. Transfer to airport

Visit the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center to see the lovely creatures. Then drive back and see Wuhou Memorial Temple, have a walk at Kuan-zhai Lane. Transfer to the airport to fly to your next destination.
