    Day 01 Hangzhou Arrival

    Hello, welcome to Hangzhou. It is known as the paradise on earth in China. When you arrive at Hangzhou Airport/Railway Station, you will see your Easy Tour China local guide waiting for you with a big smile. Then your guide and driver will take you to the hotel for check-in. If you have time, why not wander around the streets near your hotel at your own pace?

    Day 02 Hangzhou City Tour | West Lake, Huagang Park, Former Residence of Hu Xueyan, Hefang Street

    Explore the classic cultural landscapes of Hangzhou this morning on a guided tour of West Lake, one of the most famous tourist attractions in China. Opt to take a boat to enjoy iconic sights such as the Broken Bridge, Su Causeway, and Three Pagodas Reflecting Moon - in a relaxing way.

    Come to Huagang Park, right next to West Lake, brimming with lotus flowers that bloom in summer. Here, you'll join the locals for a walk, enjoy a slow-paced life, and take in the scenery by the lake and the rich vegetation.

    Later, head to the former residence of the famous Qing Dynasty businessman Hu Xueyan. Accompanied by your guide to discover its unique architectural style, while listening to the rich historical background and learning about Hangzhou's commercial culture.

    Next, take a leisurely stroll along Hefang Street, which is a historical district and also a traditional shopping street in Hangzhou. Here, you can taste Hangzhou's famous food and discover some handicrafts.

    Day 03 Hangzhou to Wangxian Valley Tour by Bullet Train + Private Transfer

    Today you’ll journey to the a Instagram-popular fairy-like destination – Wangxian Valley. It takes about 2 hours by high-speed train from Hangzhou to Shangrao. There, your guide and driver will pick you up and take you to Wangxian Valley with an approximately 1-hour drive.

    Later this afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of Wangxian Valley. You will explore the cliffside traditional dwelling houses, Jiangxi folk culture, and the magical night scene illuminated by the lights after nightfall. Of course, you won't miss its beautiful natural landscapes, including clear streams, rich vegetation, and magnificent rock peaks. The soght-after landmarks include the White Crane Cliff, the Triplet Waterfall, the Three-Pottery-Vessel Cave, and suspended glass rooms, cliff libraries, and restaurants on the cliff walls.

    Day 04 Wangxian Valley to Sanqing Mountain and Wuyuan Tour by Private Car

    This morning after breakfast, you will move again, say goodbye to Wangxian Valley, and drive to Mt. Sanqingshan (approximately 2 hours). A World Heritage Site and one of the most famous mountains in China, Sanqingshan boasts unique peaks and ancient Taoist temples. Here, we will spend 2-3 hours enjoying the magnificent scenery at the summit and visiting famous attractions such as Yujing Peak and Sanqingshan Palace.

    Get in your seat again for another 2-hour drive. Arrive in Wuyuan, one of the most popular destinations for photographers in China. After arriving, check into a hotel, rest and prepare for the next day's tour. This is a great place to enjoy Chinese culture and perhaps start your exploration of Huizhou Vernacular Architecture.

    Day 05 Visit Likeng Village and Huangling Village

    You will wake up refreshed and head to Likeng Village, which was built in the Northern Song Dynasty around 1010. Witness the well-preserved traditional Huizhou-style architecture, as well as the bygone rural lifestyle. Make your camera ready for Tongji Bridge, Doctor's Residence, Tongluo Lane, and the site of the former residence of the Southern Song military scholar Li Zhicheng, standing in the confluence of the two streams. The village features six ancient cypress trees forming a waterfront landscape, along with over 500-year-old privet trees and ancient laurel trees.

    In the afternoon, head to Huangling Village, another beautiful Huizhou-style village with a history of 600 years. Beyond its numerous buildings from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including ancient residences, ancestral halls, and ancient bridges, Huangling Village is also known for its "Sun-Drying Autumn" tradition. Must-see attractions include the Huangling Bridge and the Huangling Academy in the village. Also take pictures of the distant mountains, local residents, and traditional cuisine.

    Day 06 Wuyuan to Huangshan Tour | Visit Yellow Mountain

    From Wuyuan, it takes about 2 hours to drive to Mount Huangshan, another beautiful mountain in China. Yellow Mountain and Hongcun & Xidi Villages together are a World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site.

    Take the cable car to the top of Huangshan easily and be greeted by the unique-shaped welcoming pine. Venture deep into the strange peaks, rocks and layers of clouds. At Bright Summit, take in the panoramic view of Huangshan. Hike around to visit Lianhua Peak reaching 1864.8 meters, which is the highest peak of Huangshan.

    If your physical condition is sufficient, hike to the West Sea Grand Canyon, another landmark of Huangshan. Walk on the cliff path to explore the craggy rocks and secluded caves. Also capture the sunset if weather permits

    Day 07 Descend Yellow Mountain and Visit Xidi Village, Tuxi Old Street

    This morning you'll get up well in the glowing sunshine (if weather permits). Take the cable car down the mountain and set off on a tour of Xidi Village, with over 1000 years of history. Known as the "Museum of Ming and Qing Dynasty Dwellings," the village boasts 124 well-preserved ancient Ming and Qing dynasty residences, mostly wooden structures with brick walls, characterized by blue tiles, white walls, and horse-head gables. Also admire the exquisite brick, wood, and stone carvings.

    Afterwards, head to Tunxi Old Street. More than just a traditional commercial street, it's a great place to learn about Huangshan's history and culture. The street is lined with many well-preserved Hui-style buildings. Centuries-old shops sell traditional handicrafts such as Hui ink, Hui tea, and bamboo carvings, as well as authentic Huizhou cuisine, such as Huizhou hairy tofu and Huangshan sesame cakes.

    Day 08 Huangshan to Shanghai by Bullet Train | Visit the Bund, Cruise on Huangpu River

    In the morning, from Huangshan, you will take the high-speed train to the magical city - Shanghai, where skyscrapers meet historical streets.

    Stroll along the Bund, a landmark of Shanghai, which has witnessed the history of Shanghai from a fishing village to the colonial period to the modern era. Listen to the stories of the historical buildings while looking at the modern skyline of Shanghai on the other side of the Huangpu River, composed of the Oriental Pearl Tower, Shanghai Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, etc., the skyscrapers.

    In the evening, sit back on a Huangpu River cruise boat and quietly enjoy the twinkling night scene of Shanghai's neon lights, passing through Shanghai's financial district, the Bund, and Lujiazui.

    Day 09 Shanghai City Tour | Yu Garden, Xintiandi, Nanjing Road, Shanghai Tower

    Start your today's trip of Shanghai at Yuyuan Garden, which was built in the Ming Dynasty. Immerse yourself in the art of classical gardens. Then, you will head to Xintiandi, where traditional Shanghai Shikumen houses have been converted into a modern, stylish commercial area, filled with upscale restaurants, bars, cafes, and art galleries.

    Next, check out Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, the busiest shopping street in Shanghai. For shoppers, there are many large department stores, shopping centers, and brand stores. For culture enthusiasts, there are a number of famous historical buildings lining both sides of Nanjing Road. Then, it is your chance to take in the panoramic view of Shanghai - from Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in China.
