Day 1 Siem Reap Arrival
Day 2 Siem Reap Tour of Angkor Thom, Angkor Wat
After breakfast at hotel. Start your sightseeing tour of Angkor area, the highlight of Siem Reap and whole Cambodia. You will have a full day exploring the outstanding ancient ruin. Go through the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is known for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple in the center of the city, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the famous Elephant Terrace, which was the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest and also the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We walk through this epic edifice, admiring the many galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds filled with water reflecting the soaring temple and the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm. What an incredible sight! There are huge fig trees and gigantic creepers stretch in all directions and embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure, giving the impression of human's creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of mother nature. Day 3 Chong Khneas, Tonle Sap Lake Boating, Les Artisans d'Angkor, Siem Reap Departure
This morning we continue the trip to visit floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Sit on in a traditional wooden boat cruising the tranquil Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the biggest in Asia. We spend the remainder of today visiting the "Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor" which offers training to Cambodian youngsters in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Then transfer to airport for your departure flight. End of your 3 days Siem Reap Tour.
