Overview
On this 13 days educational school tour to China, students will get a totally new world to study from, play in, and explore. With the incredible visits of world heritages, hands-on cultural classes, local real life and flavors experience, this trip will surely widen the students’ knowledge outside the classroom and help them to learn skills and gain new insights into their own culture. The youth will also spend time in the outdoor to be embraced by great nature, walking and hiking on the Great Wall and beautiful countryside, and learn authentic Shaolin Kung Fu!

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Fly over mountains, seas and cities, getting into Beijing, capital of China. Upon your arrival at the airport, be warmly greeted by your Easy Tour China tour guide. Make sure all students are present, then transfer to your hotel. Enjoy tonight’s welcome dinner and acclimate yourself to the new world.

Day 2 Charms of Imperial Palace and Humble Hutong Alleyways
Wake up in China's dynasty capital this morning. Start your Beijing city tour. Walk through the huge Tiananmen Square, the heart and soul of China, where you can see some monuments and important buildings, including Tiananmen Rostrum where Chairman Mao's portrait is still hung up. Get into the UNESCO-listed Forbidden City. Students will follow your expert guide to have an in-depth trip through Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty to study history, architecture, culture and discover a wealth of art treasures here. Later walk or ride on a rickshaw to explore hutong – those old narrow alleyways make up the old town of Beijing. Meet local Beijingers, witness yourself the local way of life, and see the traditional Siheyuan dwelling.

Day 3 Hiking Jinshanling Great Wall - Study History, Picnic Lunch
For your students’ trip to China, it won’t be complete without the Great Wall of China, one of world’s most incredible heritages. Jinshanling is truly a more authentic and wilder Great Wall Walk the endless walls on the mountaintops through the beacon towers to view the majestic North China landscape. The hike takes about 2 to 4 hours – an exciting outdoor activity yet a unique experience to study ancient Chinese history, as the Great Wall is the most important witness of Chinese civilization. A picnic lunch will be arranged, making it a more interesting outing trip. Later today, transfer back to downtown Beijing.

Day 4 Tai Chi Practice at Temple of Heaven, Bullet Train from Beijing to Xian
It is a day for some morning exercise. Visit Temple of Heaven, a scared site where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign. Right here, a Tai Chi teacher has been waiting for your class. Students will learn from him/her to practice Tai Chi, a classic form of Chinese martial art. Practice the soft moves, you will feel energetic and refreshed. Thereafter, catch a super fast bullet train, getting to Xian, a famous historical capital of China. It was a center of the world during Tang Dynasty. There are more special things for students to see, learn and experience.

Day 5 China Terracotta Tour, Calligraphy Class, Great Mosque of Xian
Today, you will see one of world's most important archeological findings - the Terracotta Army at the Warriors and Horses Museum, known as the eighth wonder of the world. The Terracotta Army from Qin Dynasy was the burial objects of Emperor Qinshihuang, and shows the military might during the cold weapon era. Then head for Small Wild Goose Pagoda, an important site on ancient Silk Road, where students will take a Chinese calligraphy lesson, be exposed to Chinese art and learning to be patient and concentrated when writing. At last, pay a visit to the Great Mosque of Xian, located at the old Muslim Quarter. It is exceptional with a blending of Islam and Chinese architecture.

Day 6 City Wall Biking, Xian to Luoyang Tour by Speed Train, Longmen Grottoes
This morning, your class will get in China's best preserved ancient city wall in Xian, 13.7m long and around 15m wide, which saw the heyday of the Silk Road a thousand year ago. Enjoy a brisk bike on the wall – a fun and exciting activity for the energetic students.
Later catch your high speed train, getting to Luoyang, a wonderful destination that is bound to excite and inspire your whole class. Upon arrival, visit the magnificent Longmen Grottoes, started to be constructed in the 5th Century. A Buddhist art center, Longmen Grottoes also reflects the development and changes of politics, economy, religion and culture in ancient China.

- Making dumpling / Chinese Nooldes can be arranged to today. Students can feast on the foods made by themselves for lunch.

Day 7 Kung Fu Class at Shaolin Temple
So you must have heard about Kung Fu before, and today you will visit the birthplace of Chinese Kung Fu – Shaolin Temple. One of the most important Zen Buddhist temples in China, Shaolin Temple, with its ancient structures and valuable cultural relics, is another UNESCO world heritage. Wander around to admire the Forest of Pagodas and other architectures. The students then will take a Kung Fu class to learn from a Shaolin master about authentic Chinese martial arts, practicing the classic moves, kicks and gestures. You will feel like you’re a rising kung Fu star.

Day 8 Morning Kung Fu Class, Luoyang to Zhengzhou to Huangshan
Wake up early and breathe the fresh air from the mountains. After a hearty breakfast, start today’s Kung Fu learning at Shaolin Temple again. Keep practicing the moves you’ve mastered and also learn new things. Thereafter, transfer to Zhengzhou, where you take a bullet train to Huangshan. Enjoy the scenery of urban city and rural farmland along the way.

Day 9 Full-day Yellow Mountain Exploration
Today on your guided Huangshan tour, the young boys and girls will explore the most beautiful mountain in China – the Yellow Mountain - on an active, exciting and engaging way. Take cable car to up to the mountain, then start climbing and hiking up. Along the way, you will see peculiar pines growing from the sheer cliffs and oddly-shaped rock peaks shrouded in mist and clouds. Ascend the main peaks like Bright Summit, Tiandu Peak, Lotus Peak to obtain incredible views. Take cable car down the mountain. Transfer back and rest at hotel.

Day 10 Xidi to Hongcun Hiking, Hands-on Ink Stick Making
Drive to Xidi, part of UNESCO-protected Huangshan Area, and famed as “a village on painting”. Walk on the bluestone-paved path to discover the beautiful Huizhou dwelling houses dating to Ming and Qing Dynasty, which are made of wood and brick, with white walls and back roof, and exquisite carvings. Later, explore the idyllic countryside, walking about 2 hours from Xidi to Hongcun. Along the way, you will pass by rivers, streams, bridges, orchard, see local villagers working on the farmlands and tea fields, and feel happy listening to the birds singing. Thereafter, study more about Chinese culture and art, following a local craftsman step by step to make an ink stick in a traditional way with your own hands.

Day 11 Huangshan to Shanghai Tour, Shanghai Museum, the Bund
Continue your trip with all lovely students, arriving Shanghai, the most vibrant city in China. Visit Shanghai Museum, a real treasure house of Chinese art works, including Shang and Zhou Dynasty bronze wares, Tang Dynasty painting, Song Dynasty calligraphy, Ming and Qing Dynasty furniture, etc. Afterwards, ramble the Bund, where the students can catch a wonderful contrast between the ornately-decorated modern skyscrapers and historical buildings of the colonial period.

Day 12 Yu Garden, Xintiandi, Shanghai Tower & M50
Explore more of Shanghai today. Visit Yu Garden, with 400 years' history, this private garden features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta. Walk out of the garden to the Yuyuan Market and old quarters of Shanghai to witness local people's life there. Then come to the Xindiandi where the bustling shopping malls and traditional shikumen houses combine perfectly, with a glimpse into the 20th Century Shanghai. Afterwards, take the elevator up Shanghai Tower - so far China’s highest and world’s second highest building – to its observation deck for an incredible high-altitude view of Shanghai skyline. Then explore M50 Art District. Students can enjoy the fabulous contemporary art works, paintings, gallery, street graffiti, etc. created by artists from different countries.
