K-12 School Tour in Guilin

Your China school tour – Guilin part – gets started. Arrive Guilin after noon time and transfer directly to Camping site by bus. The class will work together to set up campsite and then cook your dinner. After dinner, enjoy a bonfire party, singing and talking, immersing in a happy atmosphere. Camping site overnight. Fall asleep with the whispering insects in the peaceful night.

• The camping is not available during the rainy season from May to July, and cold winter from December to March.

Wake up and have self-cooked breakfast at camping site. With dramatic, surreal karst landscape, Yangshuo is a wonderful place for outdoor activities. Head to site for rock climbing or Orienteering in the morning. The students would love the challenge to prove themselves the smart people with strong will. Lunch in local restaurant, and go for Cave Exploration and Mud Pools in the afternoon, more fun to be experienced. Check in hotel and fresh up before a welcome dinner. Go for cormorant fishing on Li River in the evening to learn about the traditional local way of fishing and fisherman’s life.

Breakfast at hotel and take a rice fields challenge hike (2.5-3hrs) in the morning. The countryside scenery is so beautiful, with orchards, streams and original villages, that all the students will find the hike a nice and interesting one. In the afternoon go to organic tea farm – stretching over the mountain hills - for tea picking activities. Definitely an awesome experience to be a tea farmer in China. After dinner, take a scavenger hunt program at the historical yet modern-look West Street. Who do not want to win the prize!

Are you always interested in the Chinese Kung Fu? Never miss the morning exercise class today. The students will follow a master to take a 1-hour Taichi or Kungfu class before breakfast. Learn the cool gestures, moves and kicks. After lunch, transfer to the charming old town of Fuli, known for Chinese landscape painting and paper fan. Here the class takes a fan making lesson, with step-by-step guidance from a teacher. In the afternoon, experience being a real Chinese farmer in Yangshuo, doing farm work with local villagers. Farewell BBQ dinner to recall the happy time you spend in the past four days.

Here comes the end of the 5 days school tour in Guilin and Yangshuo. Transfer to Guilin airport for departure flight and continue your trip to other parts of China.
