Day 1 Arrival in Beijing

Be met at the airport and transfer to your hotel at downtown.

Day 2 Visit Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City

Private escorted tour to Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, and the Forbidden City. Peking duck dinner at night.

Day 3 Visit Mutianyu Great Wall, Hutong

Private escorted tour to Mutianyu Great Wall (with round-way cable car included), and a pedicab tour Hutong (Beijing’s traditional alleyways) to see the local people’s life.

Day 4 Visit Yonghe Lamasery, Confucius Temple

Visit Yonghe Lamasery and the Confucius Temple. After a quick lunch, transfer to the train station for high speed train to Datong (2 hours). Be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 5 Visit Fogong Temple, Hanging Temple

A full day tour to the 950-year-old wooden Pagoda of Fogong Temple at Ying County, then proceed to visit the Hanging Temple at Mt. Heng.

Day 6 Visit famous Yungang Grottoes

Visit the famous Yungang Grottoes, a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site. After lunch, transfer to board an express bus to Hohhot. Be met and transferred to the hotel.

Day 7 Visit Xilamuren Grassland

Drive 1.5 hours to reach Xilamuren Grassland, which is one of the must-see attractions in Inner Mongolia, experiencing the nomadic lifestyle in North China. Overnight at Mongolian Yurt.

Day 8 Drive to Singing Sand Ravine

Drive about 3.5 hours to get to Singing Sand Ravine (Xiangshawan). Then continue your trip to Ordos and take a short visit to its trade market of cashmere productions.

Day 9 Visit Mausoleum of Genghis Khan

After breakfast, visit Mausoleum of Genghis Khan, the great leader of the Mongol Tribes. The main structure is made up of three connecting palaces in Mongolian yurt style with a 5-meter-high statue of Genghis Khan. After the visit, you will be transferred to the airport and fly to Xian, which is the starting point of the Silk Road.

Day 10 Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda

Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum in the morning. Afternoon transfer back to downtown and visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Grand Tang Dynasty Nightless City

Day 11 Xian Tour to Ancient Tity Wall, Old Muslim Quarters

Visit the Ancient City Wall, Stroll at the old Muslim quarter. Then you will be transferred to airport for your flight to next destination.
