This is an ideal expedition that provides great experience to the diversity and colorfulness of eastern China, including admiring Confucius culture at Qufu, exploring magnificent Mount Tai in Tai’an, and visiting numerous historical relics and natural sceneries in China’s most beautiful cities Suzhou and Hangzhou.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Tianjin

On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After a rest, start your city tour with the visit to Porcelain House and Shi Family Compound, to appreciate the different building styles.

Day 2 Visit Ancient Culture Street, Goddess Palace, Nanshi Food Market

After breakfast, visit Ancient Culture Street, and Goddess Palace, and Nanshi Food Market. After lunch, transfer to take a high-speed train to Tai’an.

Day 3 Visit Kong Family Mansion, Temple of Confucius, the Cemetery of Confucius

Enjoy full-day tour of The Kong Family Mansion, Temple of Confucius and The Cemetery of Confucius.

Day 4 Visit Mount Tai

Full day tour to Mount Tai (Cable car included).

Day 5 Take the train to Nanjing

Morning free at leisure. In the afternoon, take the train to Nanjing. Be met at the rail station and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 6 Visit Ming Tomb (Xiao-ling), Zhonghua Gate, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, etc.

Spend the whole day to explore some famous attractions in Nanjing, such as The Ming Tomb (Xiao-ling), Zhonghua Gate, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, Linggu Temple, and Fuzimiao Walking Street.

Day 7 Visit Garden of Net Master and No.1 Silk Factory

After breakfast, you're escorted to the rail station for the train to Suzhou. Upon arrival, you'er picked up to hotel check in. Later, visit Garden of Net Master and No.1 Silk Factory.

Day 8 Visit the Pan Gate, enjoy a cruise in the Grand Canal

Visit the Pan Gate (Panmen), then enjoy a cruise in the Grand Canal. Drive to the Railway Station for the train to Hangzhou. Be met at the rail station and transfer to hotel check in.

Day 9 Enjoy a cruise in the West Lake, visit Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak, Longjing Tea Plantation

Enjoy a cruise in the West Lake. After that, proceed to visit the Lingyin Temple, Feilai Peak, and Longjing Tea Plantation.

Day 10 Visit Yu Garden, the Bund, Nanjing Road

Transfer to take a speed train to Shanghai. Be met at the rail station and transferred to hotel check in. Later, visit Yu Garden, The Bund, and Nanjing Road.

Full day at leisure.
