Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Guangzhou

Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Free at leisure for rest of the day.

Day 2 Visit Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, Xiguan Old Houses

Picked up from hotel at around 9am and visit the Memorial Hall of Dr.Sun Yat-sen, Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family and Xiguan Old Houses in the morning. After lunch in local Zaocha style restaurant for dim-sum lunch, you will take a wall on Shamian Island, where stands many historical buildings built in colonial periord. Later, go to experience the water bus on the Peal River to view outlook of the Canton Tower. Today's trip ends at Beijing Road for local snacks and free shopping.

Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family

Day 3 Visit Ancestral Temple, Liang Garden

One day tour to Foshan, visit Ancestral Temple, a Daoist temple and was first built in the Song dynasty (960-1279AD) and Wong Fei-hung Memorial Museum, who is a legendary Chinese martial artist, physician, and acupuncturist. After lunch, visit Liang Garden, which is regarded as one of the four famous gardens of Guangdong. Then go to see Foshan Paper-cut art including paper lanterns, paper masks, and chops.

Day 4 Visit Yannanfei Tea Field, Thousand Buddhas Pagoda

Transfer to take high speed train to Meizhou. Transfer to visit Yannanfei Tea Field and Thousand Buddhas Pagoda in the afternoon.

Day 5 Visit China Hakka Museum, Weilongwu

After breakfast, visit China Hakka Museum and Weilongwu, a typical local residential houses built by Hakka people. Then drive to Chaozhou.

Day 6 Visit Kaiyuan Temple, Xiangzi Bridge, Chen Ci-hong Mansion

Visit Kaiyuan Temple, a 1200 year old Buddhist temple in Chaozhou, and porcelain kiln site of Song Dynasty (960-1279). After lunch, proceed to Xiangzi Bridge, which is renowned as one of China's four famous ancient bridges. Drive to Shantou. On the way, visit Chen Ci-hong Mansion.

Day 7 Visit Zhongshan Park and Mazu Palace

Visit Zhongshan Park and Mazu Palace. Then transfer to the airport or train station to your next destination.
