Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Shanghai
Arrive in Shanghai, your local tour guide will meet and greet you at the airport. Transfer to your hotel in downtown Shanghai. The rest of day is for your acclimation and own exploration in Shanghai for its vibrancy and wonderful night life.
Note: please kindly notice your travel consultant if you’d like to try the famous Magnetic train (speed 460 kmph) to Long Yang station.
Day 2 Visit Yu Garden, the Bund, Town God Temple, former French Concession
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, then transfer to visit Yu Garden, the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai. This small world is a hidden gem in the metropolis Shanghai of striking modern architectures, and features numerous ancient pavilions, walls, ponds and bridges.
In the afternoon, a private history tour of the Bund, Town God Temple and the former French Concession to see old & new Shanghai along Huangpu River. The Bund, with its exotic colonial buildings, is one of the famous landmarks of the city and a must-visit while travelling in Shanghai. In a short distance from the Bund, Town God Temple is renowned for the magnificent historical architecture and all kinds of snacks, thus a heaven for women travelers. In the former French Concession, enjoy the leisure hours by walking through this pedestrian street composed of traditional street format of Shanghai Shikumen and modern development.

Day 3 Visit Garden of Net Master, No.1 Silk Factory
A full day escorted tour to the beautiful Suzhou – the city is famous for gardens, silk and pretty ladies in China. Our first stop will be the Garden of Net Master -- the smallest among the four most famous classic gardens in Suzhou, yet it is the most impressive. Then pay a visit to No.1 Silk Factory, with a history of more than 80 years, it enjoys a good reputation in the silk industry. You can have some finest silk clothes and souvenirs in the factory. Drive back to Shanghai.

Day 4 Visit Zhujiajiao, Tianzifang
In the morning, you will picked up and transfer to visit the tranquil, romantic water town of Zhujiajiao. The town features beautiful waterways, arched stone bridges, ancient streets paved with stone, and more than 10,000 houses dating back several hundreds of years ago. Drive back to Shanghai city center, and visit to Tianzifang. Enjoy the fun of shopping at the small shops in the narrow lanes, dotted with local style Shikumen Houses.

Day 5 Enjoy the dumpling meal made by yourself and optional Tang Dynasty show
After breakfasts, your guide and driver will pick you up and escort you to airport. Fly to Xi'an. Transfer to the hotel in downtown area. Go and learn to make Chinese dumplings step by step at a local family and enjoy the dumpling meal made by yourself. At night, Optional Tang Dynasty show.

Day 6 Visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Gao's Grand Courtyard, Muslim Street
In the morning, transfer to visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the top attractions in China because of its historical significance and uniqueness. In the afternoon, pay a visit to Gao's Grand Courtyard with a history of over 400 years. You’ll like its elegant designed houses, as well as a tea ceremony and a shadow puppetry show. Later, you’ll be introduced to the old Muslim quarters (Muslim Street), Xian’s most famous food street, full of local flavor snacks, such as Rou Jia Mo, Yang Ruo Pao Mo, Liang Pi etc. The street also features many cultural sites and historical mosques of different architectural styles.

Day 7 Visit Small Wild Goose Pagoda, Jianfu Temple
Have a leisure stroll at the Small Wild Goose Pagoda area, a less visited spot by tourists, and an elegant park with a perfect mix of history, Buddhism and peace. Right close to Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Jianfu Temple is the Xian Museum, showcasing the precious relics of ancient Xian, Buddhist statue arts, Chinese calligraphy, paintings and jade articles. Afterwards, your guide and driver will escort you to take high speed train to Beijing. After arrival in Beijing, transfer to the hotel in downtown area.

Day 8 Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace
Today we start with the exploration of Tiananmen Square, located at the heart of Beijing, it is the world's largest city center square. Walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace to enter the Forbidden City to unveil the mystery of Chinese Imperial Palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty. In the afternoon, go visit Summer Palace, Qing’s Imperial rulers’ favorite summer residence. Listen to some legends and gossip about the emperors and concubines.

Day 9 Visit Mutianyu Great Wall, 798 Art Zone
Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, a less touristy section. Round-way cable car is included, so that you can save more energy on the walls for breathtaking views and photos. Then drive to 798 Art Zone, a thriving artistic community to see the modern art works made by Chinese artists.
Optional Peking Opera show at night - you can see how the actor and actress put on their exquisite make-ups before the show.

Day 10 Visit Temple of Heaven, Hutong, Silk Market
Today we will visit Temple of Heaven, where the ancient emperor worshipped the God for good harvests and stable reign, and now has become a perfect place for many local seniors to enjoy their lives after retirement. You will see local people, singing, dancing, drawing playing chess, and practicing Tai Chi in the park. Next, have a pedicab tour to Hutong, namely Beijing's traditional alleyways. Hutong represents Beijing's origin, location and history. It is in these gray-tiled long lanes that families play, buy goods, gossip, and connect. In the afternoon, enjoy the fun of shopping at Silk Market. It is the most popular shopping area in Beijing, with a wide range of goods, from clothes, pearls, to teas, ceramics and snacks.

Day 11 Beijing departure
Your guide and driver will escort you to the airport and help you to check in. Fly to your next destination.
