Arrive in Nanjing, be met by your Easy Tour China local guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure the rest of the day.

After breakfast, you will start today’s tour for Nanjing's highlight attractions with a visit to the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, One of the largest imperial mausoleums in China, it is the joint burial tomb of the founding emperor of the Ming Dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang, and his empress, Ma. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2003. Then go to Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, a pioneer of China's modern democratic revolution. And visit Zhonghua Gate and the Memorial of the Nanjing Massacre.

Transfer to the airport, and fly to Chengdu, the hometown of giant pandas. Your Chengdu local guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. Visit Wenshu Temple, a ancient Buddhist temple in the city with many ancient architectures, where we sip some cups of tea at a local tea house.

Full day tour to see the Giant Buddha at Leshan. It was built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty and took about 90 years to complete. It is the largest stone-carved seated Buddha in the world, standing at 71 meters tall, and is listed as a dual cultural and natural heritage site. Lingyun Temple and the Nine-Flume Staircase are the highlights. En route, visit Huanglongxi old town, with a history of 1,700 years.

In the morning, visit the Giant Panda Breeding and Research Center - one of the most renowned centers for the protection and research of giant pandas in the world. Here, you can learn about the research, breeding, feeding, protection and public education of giant pandas. After lunch, transfer to take a speed train to Chongqing (2 hours), and have short Chongqing tour by visiting the Three Gorges Museum. After dinner, board your Yangtze River cruise ship.

On board pratice Taiji in the morning, and enjoy a shore excursion to the Fengdu Ghost City or Shibaozhai depending on the schedule of the cruise companies. Today you'll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

Shore excursion to the amazing Three Gorge Dam: it is the world's largest power station in terms of installed capacity (22,500 MW). Later, disembark at Yichang. After lunch, transfer to board a speed train to Wuhan (2 hours). Have a stroll at East Lake Scenic Area.

Visit Hubei Provincial Museum, one of the eight national museums in China, featuring the cultural relics unearthed from the Zeng Hou Yi tomb during the Warring States Period. Then go to Yellow Crane Tower. It comes to the end of your 9 days China tour package along the Yangtze River. Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
