Overview

Guangxi is famous for the picturesque natural scenery as well as the colorful ethnic minority cultures. An exploration tour in this region includes top destinations like Guilin, Yangshuo & Nanning; also extend to Shuolong for the Detain waterfall, mysterious rock painting in Ningming, beautiful Longji and so on.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Nanning

Arrive in Nanning, the capital city of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. You will be met by your tour guide at the airport, and transferred to the hotel. Then enjoy the rest of the day.

Day 2 Drive to visit Detian Waterfall, then proceed to Shuolong town

Drive to Detian Waterfall (3.5 hours). After lunch, explore the waterfall, is the second largest transnational waterfall in the world, bordering with Vietnam. Then proceed to Shuolong town.

Day 3 Drive to visit the rock/cliff painting at Huashan, then drive back to Nanning

After breakfast, transfer to visit the rock/cliff painting at Huashan (Hua Mountain) in Ningming, which is believed to be the largest ancient rock painting in China. Then drive back to Nanning via highway.

Day 4 Take train to Sanjiang, visit Yangmei Ancient Town

Transfer to take a 3-hour morning train to Sanjiang, pay a visit to the beautiful Yangmei Ancient Town, and then take a high-speed train to Chengyang.

Day 5 Visit Chengyang Bridge Scenic Spot

After breakfast, visit the Chengyang Bridge Scenic Spot, which has a history of almost one hundred years. And then drive to Longji.

Day 6 Visit Longji Rice Terraces, then drive to Guilin

Visit Longji Rice Terrace, and enjoy the stunning Longji Zhuang ethnic terrace scenery. Then head for Guilin, and pay a visit to Reed Flute Cave and East & West Lane.

Day 7 Visit Daxu Ancient Town and take a bamboo rafting

After breakfast, visit Daxu Ancient Town and Xingping, feel the unique culture atmosphere, and then take a bamboo rafting down the river.

Day 8 One day Yangshuo tour

Drive to Yangshuo, stroll at the West Street, visit the magical Moon Hill and Yulong Bridge, and you will be amazed by the uncanny workmanship of nature and the extraordinary bridge building technology.

Day 9 Guilin departure

Free at leisure, and then transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
