Itinerary
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing
Day 2 Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City & Temple of Heaven
After breakfast, go to the Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest city center square. Then go to the Forbidden City, located in the center of Beijing Municipality, it was once the home of the 24 emperors and their households of the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the ritual and political center of the Chinese government. Visit Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings, which was the site of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties for annual ceremonies of prayer to Heaven for good harvest, now you can see the local Beijingers to do morning exercises here. Enjoy famous Peking duck for dinner.

Day 3 Visit Great Wall, main venues of Beijing Olympic Games, Yonghe Lamasery
Private escorted tour to the Great Wall at Mutianyu, a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China which is a symbol of China's history and heritage. Drive back to Beijing and have a photo stop at the main venues of Beijing Olympic Games and appreciate their amazing architecture styles. Later, head for Yonghe Lamasery, originally a prince mansion of Qing Dynasty, it was changed to the head office of Lama Administration.

Day 4 Visit Summer Palace, Hutong
The Summer Palace comes first, built by Empress Dowager Cixi in Qing Dynasty, and is a masterpiece of Chinese garden architecture. Then transfer back to take a pedicab tour to Hutong (Beijing’s traditional alleyways) to see the local people’s life and this tour will actually show old Beijing’s timeless best to you. Then transfer to take high speed train to Xian. Be met and transfer to hotel.

Day 5 Visit Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, Wild Goose Pagoda, Old City Quarters
Transfer to visit the famous Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, which is one of the highlight attractions in China. The Terracotta army is a form of funerary art buried with the China’s first emperor in 210–209 BC and whose purpose was to protect him in his afterlife. Later, pay a visit to Wild Goose Pagoda, first built in Tang Dynasty, which is for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang. Then have a walk at the Old City Quarters where you can experience the real life of local people and appreciate their architecture styles.

Day 6 Fly to Lhasa and visit Barkhor Street
Transfer to take flight to Lhasa-- the holy city of Tibet and a mysterious but spiritual heart of all Tibetan people. Take a leisure walk at the Barkhor Street, the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa.

Day 7 Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibet Museum
First go to the Potala Palace, which is the greatest monumental structure in Tibet, Rises 170 meters high on Red Hill. Then go to visit Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet with 1300 years’ history. In afternoon, visit Tibet Museum, Being the first large, modern museum in the Tibet, it has a collection of around 1000 artifacts related to the cultural history of Tibet.

Day 8 Visit Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka Park
In the morning, go to the Drepung Monastery, which is one of the biggest monasteries in Tibet. Sera Monastery comes the second one--located at the foot of Tatipu Hill in the northern suburb of Lhasa City, it is dedicated to the Gelugpa or Yellow Hat Sect, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism. Later, pay a visit to Norbulingka Park, meaning "Treasure Park ", it was first constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served as the whole governmental administration.

Day 9 Visit Jinsha Site Museum, Jinli old street
Take flight to Chengdu. Be met and transferred to hotel. Go to Jinsha Site Museum, it was regarded the most significant archaeological discovery in the 21st century in China. Later, proceed to visit Jinli old street, where you can get close to local people’s life and taste some delicious and special snacks.

Day 10 Visit Leshan Stone-carved Buddha, Emei Mountain
Transfer to visit the 71-meter-high Leshan Stone-carved Buddha with a history of 1200 years. The Buddha is so big that its head is 14.7 meters long and 10 meters wide with total 1021 buns of hair on it, and his smallest toenail can accommodate a seated person. Then proceed to Emei Mountain. Overnight at mountain foot.

Day 11 Visit Emei Mountai to the Wannian Temple
Take a cable car up to Wannian Temple--one of the eight largest temples on this mountain and translated as “Long Life Temple” in English. See the scenic spots nearby and walk down to see the wild monkeys on the way. Drive back to Chengdu.

Day 12 Visit Giant Panda Breeding Center
In the morning, visit Giant Panda Breeding Center, founded in 1987, it is a non-profit research and breeding facility for giant pandas and other rare animals. Take an afternoon flight to Shanghai. Be met and transferred to hotel.

Day 13 Visit Jade Buddha Temple, Yu Garden, The Bund and Nanjing Road
Full day trip to 4 highlights: Jade Buddha Temple-- the most popular Buddhist temple in Shanghai that boasting 2 precious jade Buddha sculptures from Burma. Yu Garden-- it was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. As a paragon of the south Chinese landscaping style, it is a must-see site in Shanghai. The Bund and Nanjing Road-- as it is known to all, the Bund is the waterfront to see newly-erected modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period, while Nanjing Road is the busiest shopping street. Optional acrobatic show is offered at night.

Day 14 Visit Shanghai Museum & Zhujiajiao Water Town
Visit Shanghai Museum in the morning, and then drive to visit a nearby water town Zhujiajiao ancient town, where you can see the traditional lifestyle of Yangtze Delta. Afternoon back to downtown and is free at leisure for your own trip.

Day 15 Shanghai departure
Transfer to airport and fly to your next destination.
