Guilin + Yangtze Cruise Combo

Arrival in Guilin, one of the most beautiful places in China and famous for its UNESCO-protected karst landscape. Be picked up at the airport or train station by your ETC private local guide, and transfer to the hotel.

City excursion to the famous Reed Flute Cave in the morning. The cave is filled with a large number of stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in weird and wonderful shapes. Then pay a visit to Fubo Hill by Li River, you can have a panoramic view of Guilin city on its top. Proceed to a tea farm at the city suburb to enjoy a tea ceremony and take several cups of tea. Later, drive back to downtown and stroll at the central lakes.

Take a leisurely cruise down Li River to enjoy spectacular natural sceneries of karst peaks, small islets, and primitive villages, disembark at Yangshuo. After checking into the hotel, it is followed by an excursion to the Yangshuo countryside to see the local farmer’s life and beautiful landscape by either bike or golf-car-like vehicle. Overnight at Yangshuo.

Transfer to have a optional Yulong River bamboo rafting tour (1.5 hour), and easy hike to the countryside near old town of Yangshuo to see the stunning scenery, rice paddies, water buffalo and local farmer’s life. Later, drive to the airport and fly to Chongqing, one of the most dynamic cities in China. Be met and transferred to the hotel.

On your guided Chongqing tour, go to the Three Gorges Museum, occupying an area of 30,000 square meters, it is a monographic museum to display the history and cultural heritage of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. Then pay a visit to Eling Park (Goose Neck Park) to have a bird’s eye view of Chongqing. Later, proceed to Ciqikou Old Town, it is where you will find the local residents dedicated to their traditional way of life, unaffected by modern influences to be found in the larger towns and cities. Have dinner before boarding your Yangtze River cruise.

Today you’ll get a close look of the enchanting landscape as you board a small boat and cruise along a tributary to the Yangtze to explore the exceptionally beautiful Lesser Three Gorges or Shennong Stream depending on the arrangement of the cruise company.

Shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, which is planned to be by far the largest hydroelectric project in the world. Disembark the cruise at Yichang.
